Pond finally dried up this year.It usually does but hasn't in the past 3 years. The roseau cane and joint grass was getting out off control but we finally caught a brake. We hooked up the bush hogs and cut probably 7 acres of roseau cane and I sprayed every clump of joint grass I came across.im glad we got it done because 4 days later it started to rain and the water came up to almost knee deep and wild rice came up.ill post up more as we start other projects.

Hudson, whereabouts in SW La are you at? Look forward to keeping up with your hunts like I usually do with Rick and DComeaux over that way. I'll be holding down the SE La marshes as usual

good luck!

Good deal! I made a hunt in the marsh west of 27 at end of last season, was a solid two days, lots of pins, grays and teal. Actually looks like I'm headed down that way tomorrow for work, will let you know if I see anything flying around
