Camo netting...

Postby FlintRiverFowler » Fri Sep 19, 2014 11:13 am

Didn't know where to put this so feel free to properly locate this olly or dan..

Anyways, does anybody know where I can find it for cheap? The price is higher than I expected most places I've looked. Maybe I'm just a cheap ass. I'm just looking for the very basic kind, single foliage, one side green, other side brown, with rip stop material, no net backing.

eBay is the best deal I've found. It's still pricy though.

You are a cheap ass that shit is at a premium right now.

Going for a little more contrast to match local shore lines that are wooded with grass in front.

It's cheaper to buy rafia by the LB from Sterns.

Good site! Saw some material with net backing and some without. Is the stuff without just like a sheet of fabric that has slits cut in it to give it texture?

Yeah and it's got rip stop in it if it's like what I've got.
The sheet I have the guy gave me when I bought the boat... He had more in his truck and at the time I wasn't really expecting to need it so I told him to keep it. Stupid me

For $100 you can get enough camo to do a boat with netting behind it. Not bad.

Trust me you will need to buy more than you think. The shit gets ripped up, rotten when wet. It really only last a season in good condition and maybe 2 total.

I gotta spend money on finishing the floor before I spend more on this, and cuts in the budget are going to go here before I compromise on rebuilding the floor to last.
I also have to buy a new prop that's gona cost me a hundred bucks. Slowly but surely it is going to become a great duck boat.
