Looking at ghg decoys

Im looking to get a whole new spread for next season. Ghg has a good selection at a reasonabke price. Just wondering how they will hold up over time. I dont bag them they are gunna all be texas rigged and put in the boat.
What can i expect. I had stormfronts too they are also an option they just dont have rhe selwction

Mine have worked just fine. They still the removable keel? I guess some don't like that but as Texas rigged has never bothered me. Thee greys leave something to be desired.

Aj I have used GHG decoys and they hold up fine. I love them. The mallards have held up the best

I've got quite the collection of GHG dekes and overall I'm happy with them. There have been plenty of complaints about chipping paint over the years but I've really not had many issues. What would you expect for something plastic made cheaply in China? Hard to beat for the money though some of the American companies are starting to catch up in the game so may be worth taking a look at others as well. I'd check out some end of season sales and capitalize on those to build your spread in offseason.

I have some hot buy mallard that are goin on 2 yrs and the green is starting to come off. I have a bunch of cheap game winners from academy and they are really thenn they look good they just dont last

Ik looking at the pro grade and life size deeks. Im looking at roughly 12-13 dz new deeks by next season plus the 6dz i already have. And the 10 dz my brother has

I dint wanna spend the 200 per dz with the ghg i can get them for 100 - 125 per dz

My GHG decoys have been very inconsistent, with some weathering fairly well and others fading or slipping paint pretty quickly. Their choice of base plastic colors hasn't helped:

They had a guy camping next to us this weekend and he had 15-20 ghg and they looked good and felt pretty solid compared to the cheap deeks im used to hunting with. I have some that are probmy 20 yrs old. Looking like a bunch of cartoons

I don't think they still have the removable keel, but if they do...avoid it. I went through all of my decoys this summer and I'd say that at least 80% of the removable keels were cracked in the slot that the keel slides into.

I used 5200 and caulked the keel to the base, and some of them still leak. Buyer beware.

I just bought a 6-pack each prograde mallards and pintails and I think they look great. Birds don't seem to mind them, either. I have some of the exact same pinnies I bought a year ago. They're dinged up but from 40 yards it's hard to see the difference from the new ones.

Keels are not removable.

Don't think any of them have this anymore, and yea I can definitely attest to issues with cracking at the slot where the keel slid in. Non-issue now
