Tried to paint some deeks

I'm not convinced on them tho. Thoughts? Suggestions?

other than the odd mallard like shape, and tail curls, they look great to me.

Look good. Couple coats of krylon flat clear coat will take the shine off

Those will hunt just fine. If you ever want to tone down a paint job you can do a "wash". Take raw umber, water it down and brush it on.

Not a dumb one at all but yes. Its in the brown spectrum. Washes are basically taking a dab of acrylic and mixing with water to thin it
out to where its just tinted water.
It can help tone down colors a bit.
