Should have it by mid week. It's going to be a crunch to get it finished by opener next weekend and finishing the house so we can list it the same day... Not much for birds around yet anyways.

Us either. Geese are moving in so hopefully the ducks will be here in short order.

It's looking a lot like last year which isn't something I want to talk about.

I'm optimistic for this year, last year was terrible.

You don't have to tell me how last year went down.

Well I found 3 new places. So hope fully this year will be better. Flight let me know when you come up we will go hit one spot for sure and hopefully it will be awesome. Got more scouting to do but if it works out like teal season did it should be great.

Finished the welding and currently working on the engine install. Said screw it and was just going to use the oil system on the engine but then realized I lost a small little disk that is part of it, second time.... Gonna take that as an omen and mix. Dammit.

Best thing to do is just mix in bulk. I've got several cans at the house. My plan is to do 10-15 gallons at a time and just fill it up at home as I go and keep a can in the boat.
Trying to do the math at a gas station in the wee hours of the morning in a hurry is a pain... "Let's see I put 2.8 gallons of gas in this time so at a 50:1 ratio"...... Yeah screw that.

I don't understand your hatred of mixing oil. Get one of these and make your life easier.

I picked one of those up earlier but I'd still just like to gas and go.

You're putting my boat project to shame with cool factor and timing. What was it like a couple weeks ago you started this? I started mine in august.

Naw been more than a couple weeks. Had to take two off from the boat to send the welder back and get my house market ready. What I want is your boat, my motor. Wood probably be tight in that thing though.

Shouldn't that help you pick up some power? Seems like having the edge sealed on the jet would increase the pressure/thrust.

Don't know how much yet but reading says it is a significant difference. Will make for a much more efficient pump.
