"Walk in" boat

Postby simplepeddler » Wed Nov 18, 2015 7:20 pm

Some time ago I ran across and add for what looked like a walk in type boat.......basically it was like a horse shoe that a person was able to walk in makeing themselves stable by holding on to it......it had a gun rack and a seat when positioned.....

Of course I was drinking whiskey so.....it might have been my imagination.......

you guys ever see anything like this??

Would that be illegal for duck hunting? Since half your body would be under water?
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Unless you're hunting down South, I would think that body booting in the water could get old and cold!

Why not just use a marsh boat, stable kayak or a pirogue? It doesn't seem to hide any better than one of these.

I would make a dog stand on legs. Even dogs sitting still turn their heads with the birds and I would guarantee they would make visible motion on a floating small platform. Now floating with spud poles to stabilize it would work.
