Wow, that is a great buck! Wish the deer around here would get that big. I am jealous.

Internet scouter.

That thing is ridiculous. How would it fit thru the trees in the forest?

It's only a Texas deer if it weighs less than 100 pounds with a rack that size.

15 years ago we'd kill several does a year over 200 lbs. Now one at 180 is huge. Too many deer.

Thats the third time Ive seen that pic today. I was also shown a link to an FB page showing that someone else killed it. Internet BS. Supposedly it was killed in Lunenburg County.

Exactly. The biggest doe contests daily winners around here are generally 130-150, with a winner taking the whole deal with about a 160-something.

If it was killed in Lunenburg county, that's a little over 2 hours from me.

I don't know if they weighed this buck, but I would estimate him at around 160-170 live weight.
Most of our bucks are going to be around 150 lbs., due to heavy hunting with dogs and overpopulation.
Does will go 130-145, but I killed one last year that was probably closer to 160.

Leaving this thread satisfied.

Freaky looking whitetail, rack is too
big for its body.
Agree, would have been a nice deer next year!! Most mature bucks around here will weigh atleast 250, the does I have taken have averaged over 190, biggest being 210.

Our bigger bucks go over 200 in the Adirondacks, but I'd say average harvested weight is 150.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.
