It's PEI Winglocker, aka Shannon Ohlandt?, that came up with the call. I've thought about going that route, trouble is, I head they had to make some adjustments to the LG insert to get it to fit. Also, I have terrible luck with goose calls being interchangeable. I've had two Canucks and two G3s that were hard to believe came from the same manufacturer.

Some of those party horns sound damn close to snow goose calls. Last wedding I went to had some that sounded just like my snow call. And the party horns are a hell of a lot cheaper.

Oooo, snows. Never thought about that. We don't get many, but there's a bunch up in Canada...

So if a guy were to be interested in running a cut down, what brand would be a good one to check out. I am against anything RNT, can't run any of their calls for some reason. Not opposed to spending some cash, just as long as it's a quality call.

I've only owned the Mondo, DFB and BSOD and kept the (RNT) Mondo, so my judgement might not suit you at all, but of the two non RNTs, I preferred the BSOD.

unless you want to drop $175ish on a modified keyhole Olt, I'd recommend an Arkansas cut Black Monster from Bryce Decker. He's on this site, just shoot him a pm.

I like Bryce's call a lot, but you could talk to Spencer Halford at Rolling Thunder Game Calls and he could set you up with one too. I haven't tried one of Spencer's cuts yet but he told me that his cut and Bryce's are completely different. I say that because if you don't like a Black Monster a BSOD may be a better suit your style.

Keeps them in it so if he gets seen toking on his one-hitter he can claim he was practicing.

RNT is the only company that I can't. I had a short barrel and could not make it sound good. Tried an MVP and could do alright, but definitely like other call makers.

I usually only have 3 or 4. That's why the top 4 drops are all clipons. It all depends on where I'm going as to what calls are on. The rest stay in the bag.

Ahh. I don't have any room to talk. I've got 3 calls and a whistle on mine (with clip on options for additions).

I leave them all in the bag then clip on an extra 4 right before I get to the boat launch so I can look like a badass.

Everyone knows that you need to wear at least 3 lanyards at the same time to be considered a badass.

I have the same flute and Eric H has/had one too. Mines made by Buck Gardner under Rich n Tone. It sounds really good. Can we get a better pic of the D2?

It's a new remake...nothing fancy. I wanted one, but didn't feel like spending the $60 everybody wanted for their grandpas d2.
