Late nights at work mean I don't hunt mornings on work days. Hell I can hardly get up before 10

After a rough weekend of getting a field pinned down it turned out ok. Got way behind this year with permission and birds were few and far between. 3 of us put on over 600 miles just this weekend trying to find birds to hunt. Got some locked down on a field we could hunt. And plan A B and C. A and B already had guys camped out at 9pm when I got there. Plan C was empty so that's where I stayed. Had about 100 geese the previous 2 mornings. Ended up only having 50 show and they all came at once. They stopped a little short but still in rage and the 4 of us dumped 7 of them. Had a silent flock come in later and I made a bad shot call on outa range birds and only got 1 and that's where it ended. So not a bad opener but coulda been better. Hope the rest of the season turns up a little for us.
