Yep - didn't want to be "that guy".
At least it's only a 3 minute drive from the house - I woke up, got dressed, pulled on my waders, drove over there, drove home and went back to bed in less than 20 minutes.

Wind is blowing like a banshee. Gonna make for an interesting shoot. There was two jeeps at the field we are hunting when we got here but it will hold 30 or so.

Archery elk starts next Saturday, I suppose I should use this federal holiday to scout things out.

Ended up with 11 morning doves. Got checked by the game warden and he said we was doing better than anybody else he checked. Good morning except for all the wind.

We ended the morning with 24 doves. Letting them rest for awhile and then getting after them this afternoon.

Well don't feel bad about working today. I'd have rather been. Was hooking my camper up to bring it home and go kill some geese and pulled something in my back. Look like a 80 fucking year old man. So I'm spending opening day on the couch

Yea it does, bad. I backed it in chocked it and came inside and not been up since. Wife and kids had to unload it, which was funny
