Actually, it was less than the new ones go for off the shelf.
It was used, but still mint. I found it on gunbroker. The seller had taken bad pictures of it, but I thought I could see a hint of some figuring in the wood.
I asked him to email me some better pics, and he did. They were still bad, but I opened them in Photoshop and corrected the exposure, revealing the treasure.
It came with a crappy Nikon Prostaff on it, which I will likely sell. After that sells off, I'll be at about $650 on the rifle.
