I lifted some in high school, and all the time in college, those were mandatory. My pitching coach was a workout freak.

I could bench more than my weight. I was happy with that.

When my construction business actually worked I hired a few guys because they were cut and worked out.
Ironically when you get a bunk of 3/4" t&g plywood and ask them to carry it over to the floor we're sheeting they moan and groan. Pointing out that they can dead lift 500# and a sheet is a whole lot less...only 100 reps, get on it boys. I'm paying you to work out and paying you well...
I get the stink eye.

How many sheets of plywood have you pushed up a ladder?
Rex? Anyone?

Ever tote bundles of shingles up onto a two story roof?

I've carried literally 1000's of sheets of 3/4, 5/8, 7/16 up ladders. Shingles in the multiple 1000's. It's simple. Like lifting, it's all form, except carrying a 30# sheet of plywood takes no muscle to do.

He's probably sleeping until the last possible second before jumping up, grabbing a handful of cowboy cookies. Then he asks his dad which truck he can drive to school today.
