They flew away but first one had to land on the peak of the fire station roof and take a shit.
It won't be long now....I saw a bird!

Hey... c'mere...take a look up close.
Now run! Go in the back door quick.
That hive is full of pissed off bees because they're making a new queen. For about 3 weeks or so they're going to be like that.
16839042953506720494927560290722.jpg

Suiting up to mow or dig in the garden sucks.
I let my hives re-queen themselves because I end up with better bee queens than I can buy.

I would assume that at least one or two members drink coffee and maybe carry a thermos hunting even with waders on.
This machine has an "extra hot" setting.
I can fill an insulated travel cup, drive 45 minutes, launch boat, drive to spot, set up spread and blind AND STILL HAVE HOT COFFEE in the cup with more in the thermos.
Am spoiled as hell on them k-cups.

If I keep the fire going long enough someone will show up with cash for the dually. Had two at a time today.
Crazy. It's an old pos dodge from down south hardly any rust.
I'll sell it by August or send it to the crusher.

That pellet grill was only $199 at tractor supply last year for fathers day. Even Embers brand. It's as good as a traeger as far as I know.

Ever spend time comparing the color of a dog's eye to another? Probably not.
I noticed on milo. The brown color of a lab's eye is kind of unique and special.
Millet has the same color and I assume they all do.

There ain't much left of the July harvested stuff.
A gallon going out this morning.
I'm the only beekeeper in this area that sells in bulk like that.

Half-gallon jars.
You're lucky to find quarts or pints reasonably priced.
Everyone uses special high dollar packaging.

Stepler got his packages of bees.
I think they came from Italy.
They came in "printed" packages with the apiary name on them.
He paid $55,000 for less that 200.
That's what they normally look like.
His were black plastic and snapped together.

The guy that wants my dually...
We ended up in the shed looking for a bolt or something.
I mentioned how uncomfortable I was allowing a random guy off the street to examine the contents of the shed.
"Look at what all I got!" or something like that.
He got a little defensive so I said "$8000 worth of stuff basically left here a while back and I'm still a little jumpy".

Yesterday he told me who stole the mowers.
The same ppl robbed him too and took A BACKHOE

Grosbeaks have been here for a couple weeks, Oreos have traveled through they try to eat out of the hummingbird feeders for a couple days and then move on.
Blue buntings are back, they're probably my favorite.
I've been spreading scratch grain underneath a big water oak in the front yard and the birds seem to like foraging around for it better than in the bird feeders.

The grass around here. Growth is in inches per day lately.
Mow twice a week.
Must mean that there will be an epic duck season somewhere.

Inches per day, that's a good way to put it. It rains 1 inch here and the Grass grows 3 inches.
2 in of rain and you'll have 6 in of grass...
I have three patches of clover in my yard and the bees seem to like those white clover blooms...
Epic duck season, I'm sure there will be one somewhere...
