Yea it wasn't too hard. Spent 5 minutes looking for the state stamp then figured out it was combined with the waterfowl portion.

What for? I was raised just north in lily lake. If you get the chance, stop at Pete's hot dogs at the intersection of 47 and 64. Great chili dogs and a good selection of hot sauces

Picked up this little gem off of eBay for 31.00. Its a high speed, 25,000 rpm, acrylic nail drill used in nail salons. It has forward and reverse, a foot control and came with a few burs. I can use it for some of my carving work. The primo units around like Foredom, or Ram go anywhere from 250 to 1,000. I don't give to shakes if it is purple if it lasts through 50 decoys it'll be a win.

I've been wanting to purchase or make something to move water on those calm days, and after hunting with Rick for teal season it gave me the push I needed. We started out looking for parts to put one together, but after looking at pricing on these things, we decided to skip the hassle of fabrication and buy one. At least we'll have something new to play with in the blind, as I'm not real confident with this years migration reaching us with any numbers.

New radio for the truck. My in dash radio died on the way TO Michigan and that meant I had to ride all the way back with no music.

The new one is fancy with Bluetooth.

No, I bought another 14 that has the motor I want and I'm going to switch it with 15 and sell the new boat in the spring.

But I'm going strip all the nice stuff off of it first like the trolling motor.

Nice at least you'll have the power now for faster scouting trips.

Dan spends more on knives in a month than I made last year.

I'd like to see how well that blade would hold up after gutting and skinning 50 elk or so.

Speaking of which, my grandfather has an old western knife that he has gutted and skinned over 75 elk with. He also has another just like it that he never used. It's amazing the difference between the two.
