Unbeatable at every price point.

This. Leupold fanboys are impossible to convince that there could possibly be anything other than Leupold, although I doubt they could pick one out of a lineup, let alone consider it the best in class.

Don't give a hoot what you shoot, as long as my circa '70s 2x8 Leupold keeps doing what it does, I'll be its fanboy.

It took me a long time to believe the Vortex brand was legit...it finally took someone stealing my Nikon Binos and me taking every pair of 10x42's from inside a major sporting goods store out the back door and looking across a 1,000 yard field with every pair to see the proof. The Talon HD's at $450 were more comparable to the $750-$1,000 Nikon/Leupold/Swaro/Zeiss than they were to the $4-500 glass in the store.

For Binos I use Steiners military marine.

I've got a pair of 8x30 M/Ms, they're not even close.
My Nikon 7x50's get used for night hunting, they're fairly bright, but that's mostly a function of the mag x obj, not to useful for scouting
