Little shit like jacking up the engine a couple inches higher. If I switch props I bet I can hit 28mph with a 15 horse engine. I'm up to 24 now.

Your boat with the 15hp? Tell me the ways of the wise to get my 9.9 to push my boat back on plane again please!

How much you weigh goldfish? That might be what is slowing you up.
If you're less than 200 maybe I can help. 24 is as fast as it can go theoretically with the prop I have so I doubt I get any more out of it. 11 pitch prop. 12 would be getting where it takes a long way to get to top speed.
You want that cavitation plate on the engine to be roughly even with the bottom of the boat. I can convert your engine to 15 too. I'd sell you the part. One part. Bolt it on and it's a 15. (the carb)
Kid on ooser outlaws has his 8 horse mercury up to 17.
