Got me a new outboard, but it's only 1.8 hp. Will come in handy putting in and picking up deaks.

Picked up a set of golf clubs and bag today for 25 bucks. King cobra driver, 3, 5, and hybrid 3 or something like that. The rest of the irons aren't anything special, but they are at least a better for than what I have right now.

To watch. You are doing it wrong/with the wrong people if it isn't fun.

Best to keep it that way.

Golf is an evil sadistic game. I enjoy it, but it takes way too much time, so I rarely play.

My brother came out about a month ago. We played a round. First hole, we both parred  Second hole, I bogeyed, which for me is still better than average and given that it was a par 4 with an island green, that was better than the par on the first hole. I actually look like I know what I'm doing

And then the evil game of golf set in. Either the 3rd or 4th hole. A short par three, over water that is not in play at all. There are about a half dozen geese on the water's edge. I joke with my brother if he'd give me a birdie if I hit one. Then I hit the fucking ball in the water. Tee it up again. Damn near got a fucking goose on the second whack off the tee. Third whack from the tee I finally got over the water and missed the green by about 30 yards. This was about 150 yard hole and the water went from about 30 to 120. And then the long slog in the middle.

Last two holes. A well played bogey and a beautiful par. Should have just played the first to and last two and skip all those in the middle. I had one of my worst rounds ever. I got a fucking 14 on one hole. I don't even know how that is possible.

But if I had more time, I'd play more. It is an evil game.
