My "Columbia Omni shit" was just that. Soaked through at pressure points just like the Gortex before it. Bah humbug.

I've had good luck with gortex and Columbia. My decoy gloves have been better than the neoprene ones I had before them.

Neoprene gloves are better than anything for 6 months of use then they all fail. I think they just have too many small seams to work out.

Had both and both leaked sooner than later. These don't and won't:


Less than $4 a pair, a damn sight easier to slip onto cold hands, and if you pony up another $4 for military wool liners, a damn sight warmer than neoprene or gortex/thinsulate gloves.

Standups are a blast. Takes a little while to get used to, but a lot of fun once you figure them out.
