I've had good luck with gortex and Columbia. My decoy gloves have been better than the neoprene ones I had before them.

Neoprene gloves are better than anything for 6 months of use then they all fail. I think they just have too many small seams to work out.

Had both and both leaked sooner than later. These don't and won't:

Less than $4 a pair, a damn sight easier to slip onto cold hands, and if you pony up another $4 for military wool liners, a damn sight warmer than neoprene or gortex/thinsulate gloves.

Required by law here:
A motorboat less than 26 feet with a hand tiller outboard motor in excess of 10 horsepower designed to have or having an engine cut-off switch must have the engine cut-off switch link attacked to the operator, the operator's clothing, or the operator's PFD, if worn, while the motor is running and the vessel is underway.

I can't keep the gortex ones on very long before my hands start sweating.

Rick, what's the name of that tree duck whistle you like again? Is it the one from across the pond?

It's a Montana Lite herding dog whistle made here in the states, but I've been unable to get it anywhere but a British shop on ebay.

Damn that's awesome. I rode Flint's this summer and they were a blast. I've never been on a stand up though.

Nah he needs to mount two punt guns on the bow and just abush the ducks full speed.

Standups are a blast. Takes a little while to get used to, but a lot of fun once you figure them out.

Haha. There is a pretty solid chance this will be used for scouting early season. And quite a bit for bowfishing tournament scouting.

I'd fall on my ass and never be able to get back up. I'm tall and goofy with no coordination.

They aren't that hard to ride once you figure it out. Best part about falling is you're on water...Hard to get hurt on it.

Only if you don't know how to ride them. I've been on both. Standups are way more fun once you get them figured out.

I feel like that's misleading. Hitting water at high speeds will hurt ya.
