I've got a rollerball that's pretty damn nice. Just didn't think I could handle the commitment of a fountain pen.

I like doing things the way they used to be done. I'm going to invest in a real straight razor here soon if that's any indication of my personality. I like the feel of a fountain pen on paper better. It's gritty and loud and you can feel the texture of the paper through the pen. Any old pen will work, I just like the experience of using fountain pens. You also have the option of using a wide variety of inks-blues, greens, greys, black, browns, reds, burgundy. There's a lot of room for customization.

You're into calligraphy. So gay.

Yeah. It took mad skills to paint a section of pvc.
The insert was real hard to take out of a call and stick into the end of the pvc.
The range on that call was awesome...gave a extra ten feet. lol

Straight razors are over rated. There is a reason no one uses them anymore. When I was about your age I inherited my grandfathers. I about cut my head off.

Nowadays its cheap bic disposables.

The way people used to do things mostly sucked.

Yeah. But they weren't bound to every corporation.
Baked (and sliced) their own bread, made their own cheese with milk from the family cow, and many highly skilled endeavors just to survive.
If Bic goes under half the people in America couldn't make a fire.

I always thought it was the paper that made fountain pens so hard to run. As the paper got cheaper, thinner, and more coarse, it seems like they just don't write worth a damn. Although it could just be me.

I like to write with mechanical pencils. Either that or I'm using a carpenter pencil.

I try to write all my reports in crayon and sign everything with magic marker or if I am in a bind a colored pencil.

Disposables cut me up like no other. Cleanest, smoothest, and most cut free shave I've ever given myself has been with a straight razor.

I can't stand a smooth shave it irritates me. booty face is what i call it. I use an electric trimmer bc I prefer to leave some stubble. But I don't work behind a desk either.

I switched to using the clippers then went bearded in june last year. Figured I'd clean up for my brothers wedding in July then go wooly again.

It's mainly the hot thing. I still grow a beard from oct to feb/march. Although, I have to admit, after shave sex is usually pretty stellar....
