We had the mallards for our last DU event. They seemed heavy, but very durable.

Yeah, they're a few ounces heavier than my herters 72's, but a little bigger too. I got a dozen of the mallards back in December and a dozen of the redheads too. I need to thin out my old crappy dekes and really only keep what I use.

I really wanted and still do want a first gen dodge with the 12v cummins. I would want a 1993 manual, 4x4, long bed. If I can find one in great shape I might be willing to sell my 2nd gen for it.

Was thinking the same. Some pretty big wigs have ridden the tailgate of my old clunker, while the coyote rode in the cab, and Ellie surely commands the same deference.

The Columbia omni shit is no joke. My raincoat is badass. Probably not worth the marked 240 but definitely the $60 I payed for it.

My "Columbia Omni shit" was just that. Soaked through at pressure points just like the Gortex before it. Bah humbug.

I've had good luck with gortex and Columbia. My decoy gloves have been better than the neoprene ones I had before them.

Neoprene gloves are better than anything for 6 months of use then they all fail. I think they just have too many small seams to work out.
