But honestly don't care for brisket at all. Much prefer pork.

Because that's the only good use for a brisket.

That may well be the dumbest thing I've seen you post. A well cooked brisket is heaven on earth.

Maybe. I just don't like smoked beef. I like pork far, far better when it comes to that sort of cooking.

I've done too much pork lately. Plus it clogs me up something awful.
My grandmother is from Texas so I decided to do the family a smoked brisket for Easter weekend.
Gotta go now and pick my uds up from my shop. Idk why the fuck I didn't grab it this morning.

Don't have to smoke brisket, just cook it low and slow and let all that fat make it sweet, sweet, sweet.

Jehler sent me video of his new smoker. Green egg knockoff. Says he can control temps from 200-600 degrees and hold. He was baking a pizza on a rock in it.
Bad ass.

If I wasn't selling this place in a month, I'd pull it out and JB weld the piss out of it, just to see if I could get it to hold water.

But, damn - if I gotta drag it out of the corner I'm not going to risk a halfassed patch job and have to do it again.

I'd leave the sand in so that the syrup would crystallize.
That'd be cool to spread on hehehe....stuff.

Unfortunately it forms giant sugar crystals that are unspreadable. Tried it lol. Best bet would be to cook to 230ish and let it get pastey

All my bills are due on the first of the month. Thank god my wife makes way more money than me or else my paycheck would diminish by the second day of the month.
