Tried my hand at French dip tonight. Did not have the proper rolls but it came out damn fine.

I'm sure it was good, but I gotta tell you. That is some ghetto looking French dip.

Glad you said it lol.

I don't think Hudson would rate it at "it was right" based on looks alone.

It was definitely ghetto, I sliced London broil that was on sale as thin as I could, threw it in the pressure cooker for about 30. A little salt and a slice of provolone and threw it on sourdough and that's what I came up with. My wife is still at work

Interesting, I always pop the head and wings off mine and rip the breast out with ribs and breast plate
intact. Then marinade them and wrap in bacon. So you cut the breast meat out?

I've heard of guys cooking them up and then using a spoon to pop the meat off the breast and make biscuits and gravy with them. At least I was under the impression the dove was cooked first.

More just pull it out. Rip the skin open and peel back, and then just a little cut at the tops and you can pull them out.

The time I made them into biscuits and gravy I cut the meat off the bone, fried in butter, then tossed into the gravy. It was good too.

Will be giving that a go this year. Not any problems with the meat falling between the grill grates?

Its tougher trying not to lose the gravy between the grates.

It's called the "why not I like all this shit" meal. Venison, tomatoes, chili pepper, A1, tobasco and Worcester on top of noodles with green beans
