Black bears are everywhere and walk by me all the time around the house. Just a few brown bears have walked up on me outside and none with cubs, they just walked on by as I try to put a truck or door between them and me.

Up on Cobb mountain, here in Lake County. Spot where we were has a group of about 10 bucks going through there often, with a nice 3x3 approximately 24" or so wide, we just weren't in the right place at the right time.

You know, you have to drive from point A to point B, and can hunt up until the end of LEGAL light, the mosy around the house when you get home before getting on the computer. Actually, I got home around 9:40 if you want to know Rex.

No, our deer are on different schedules than your deer. Our early season mule deer archery starts in late august early septeember-mid septemberish, with muley rifle in October. It is not uncommon to see blacktails out of velvet this late in July.
