She is 4 for 4 on geese. I want to get some ducks as dumb as those geese. Those were the ones for a newby That was what really turned her from just tagging along on occasion to watch to wanting to actually go along to hunt once in awhile.
We've had a few woodies zip through when she's been along, but seen too late and in and out of gun range way too quick for her. I don't want her to get discourage by the woodies that you have zero time to react that experienced hunters are rarely quick enough to shoot at, let alone actually hit.

Thankfully no wind. I don't think we got any frost here.
A calm day it can be 32 at ground level and at the height of the temperature measurement a couple degrees warmer. That whole cold air sinks thing. I have seen that happen too
