It's all good my son got his first ducks this morning. Got him a woodie and a BWT. So very proud of him. Both birds 20-25 yds shots and he made it look like he been doin it for years. Now the rest of the day he could get any but he nailed those 2.

Yep sure is, debating on going deer hunting or trying to kill a duck

Duck season is here , forget the damn woods goats! Lot of places to duck hunt here, but I have nowhere to deer hunt.

Still jelly regardless of the dangers, Dan!

Titz spent the afternoon laying in the boat watching Buffies fly in from behind at Mach speed.

Been waiting for decent weather for a month, even had to resort to shooting deer because we couldn't get out.

It's gonna be a bloody couple of days.

Just livin' the dream! Hunting season is pretty much wrapped up for me now other than whacking some pheasants, so I'll probably be around a lot more.

Just need the wind to hold...so sick of "3-5', occasional 7', 4-6', occasional 9', Gale warning, Small Craft Advisory, blah, blah, blah..."
Finally got some decent weather.

Apparently Toyotas keep their value but at almost half a million miles there is no possible way you could present a case that that truck is worth almost 8k. No. Fucking. Way.

Personally I hate those long line drops with the swivel Snaps, I prefer to tie knots in the drop line and tie the deres directly to that. Just seems to cut down on tangling when tossing dekes out

Wheeeew. No pics this am.

Wind.
Waves.
Ice allovereverydamnthing.

It was a battle to even stand up in the tender, let alone swap to/from the layout. The wind/waves that were supposed to "build throughout the day" went from 1's to 3's in about 20 minutes after sunrise...quit with 8 and 3 lost crips...sort of the story of this season.
