Back in the '70s, I won a Weatherby semi-auto, a Savage .22/20ga O/U and a print at a NWTF dinner and apparently used up my lifetime supply of raffle luck. Haven't won pecans since.

I have won over 20 guns at DU and National Wildlife Federation events. 3 years ago I walked into a DU dinner late, walked to the raffles and they were closing one for a Ruger LCR. I asked if I was too late, they sold me a ticket and I won it 3 minutes later. I also won a single barrel shotgun, 2 prints and a bow at that event on $100 of tickets.

NWF my first event, I won a RugerSR9, brand new compound bow, 5 boxes of ammo and 3 prints and a barnboard sign. $200 worth of tickets. You would think I would win at scratch tickets or Powerball but I am lucky to win 2 bucks on those things.

I have won 6 bows. I even win at craft fairs and such. Entered a free raffle in December, and got a call 25 minutes later that I had one a huge mixing bowl with a whole pile of mixes and kitchen tools

Yea I think I would. Living on the gulf coast has been my least favorite station so far since joining the Coast Guard. Living in the UP has made me hate big cities.

Football season ended when the Cowboys and the Steelers were eliminated. As for the halftime show, the puppy bowl would have been a better use of my time.

Most of our applicants are walk ins or picked up by phone call when they call us. We are obligated to give anyone that wants a ASVAB one as long as they meet the basic qualifications to join. So we get a lot of dumb asses taking the ASVAB because we can't DQ them any other way.
