HGTV would eat that up.

What do you work in an abandoned 1 room school house? Look at those windows.

I'm pretty certain I am in one of the earliest office buildings on the site.

I had an old guy walk into my office one day and tell me about the time he was sitting right about where I was when Enrico Fermi walked into his office. I am probably still using that same desk

Yep.

The guy the was responsible for building the first nuclear reactor at the University of Chicago. This was part of the Manhattan project. They needed the reactors to produce plutonium. After the war, that research went in the direction of peaceful uses, and located to where I currently work.

One of the best things about being in the military is that people move around. Meaning that you only have to put up with your boss for just so long. 30 more days!

I had planned to get out and stick some fish this past weekend, but it was not to be.

We still are pretty iced up but found a few in a ditch.

Poor boat. I'm sure we'll have carp out our ears this year but since the lake was so low last year now that it has filled up the red weeds and blood weeds are solid 10 feet out into the water. Doesn't make crappie fishing any easier either.

I got the boat pretty well ready, but my sump pump stopped pumping. That and a few other things ended up consuming too much time so I didn't feel it was worth heading out for the time that I had :(

I've seen more blue wing teal driving around today than I ever have. Them things sure are pretty when they aren't just brown. Also seen a bunch of turkeys the last week. Hopefully that means we'll have a good season this year.

They've been conspicuously scarce where I've been this Spring but seem to be making a show now.

Tons of blue wingers here in west ky now. Took a stroll through the lease and they are everywhere. Love the laughing hack the hens make.

Sounds like you might want to spend it swapping out that heater core.
