Start walking him around the building letting him mark every thing before going in. Usually mine will piss on everything he can and then take a big ole gnarly one as close as possible to the door. That's when it's safe to enter the building and he's cool.

Why is it that my dog acts like an asshole at the vet? He forgets what sit and stay means, requires multiple slaps to remind him.

Moose is the same way. It's hard to try and tell someone your dog is well trained when he's whining loudly because of all the other animals around and is barely sitting still.

I about got arrested at a McDonalds in Vegas for something very similar to this. Me and a buddy ordered the twenty piece nugget deal. The cashier and two managers didn't have a firm enough grasp of the English language to understand that "fries and drinks" is plural and that "feeds 2" apparently does not mean you get 2 fries and 2 drinks. Telling them that English must be their second language did not do as much good as I had hoped. Ended up having to pony up and buy an extra drink.
