That was odd that they were all stunted. Most I've seen are well over 10 lbs. biggest was 80 I think.

80 is a fat **** carp. Damn. I shot a 50 lb grass carp. 80 would put up quite tussle.

The guy that shot it is has shot a couple 6'+ gar too. I don't remember how long the thing was but the guy is 6'6 and when he held it's head above his waist it's tail was on the ground. His bow fishing bow has a 100 lb draw. Got a real good deal on it cause the bow shop couldn't get rid of it. Nobody could draw it.

I'm guessing that's grass carp and got or gar????

Tried replacing the pinion seal on my truck. Watched a YouTube video....seemed easy enough. Popped off the driveshaft to find a 1 7/8" nut. Run to hardware store and get socket. Tried a impact gun my dad had in the barn with no luck. Tried breaker bar with no luck. Put a pipe and breaker bar with no luck. Got air impact from work with no luck. Tried them all again with some PB blaster and heat still no luck. Now I'm going to hook the driveshaft back up and take the damn thing to a garage. I fucking hate working on trucks.

I believe it was. And yes an alligator gar. The big ones are in the river so 6' is about the biggest I've seen in the lake.

Yeah. All we have are common carp here. 20lbs are pretty common with 30+ being very rare. Biggest shot off my boat was 31lbs. Biggest I've personally shot was a little over 25.

Had to present my mock grant proposal today. One of my judges told me my proposed research was common sense and absolutely pointless. Then the next said it was a brilliant idea. I have no idea how that shit is gonna work out.
