I do a shit load of 12 oz curls every day after work. Hell sometimes I start doing them on the way home.

You should be squatting close to your deadlift. What gives?

Only in my dreams could I do that. Not built well to do that.

That's pretty damn good. I would say except for bench, but mine is 165 for reps. Then since I have the chance to whip my dick out:
Squat: 355x5
Dead lift: down to 375x5 because it started hurting my shoulder
Power clean: 205x5
Overhead press: 185x5

I hate military press with a passion. I can do 160 3 times before I die. I'm happy with what I can do for being 6'3" and 165.

Yeah. That dead lift was a typo also. It should say 315 not 375.

So a box squat is basically a padded seat that you squat down to to sit then back up. It's easy to do. Just a bench variation. Then the bench pad, you have a cyrofoam cylinder that you put on your chest for padding. All you have to do is basically bounce the bar off you chest. Just a variation of the norm.

Walking by and saying "fuck that shit!" and having a beer. Then your wife gets to moves whatever it is (she moves it, because she is tired of asking you to move it). That is manly.

Ironically when you get a bunk of 3/4" t&g plywood and ask them to carry it over to the floor we're sheeting they moan and groan. Pointing out that they can dead lift 500# and a sheet is a whole lot less...only 100 reps, get on it boys. I'm paying you to work out and paying you well...
I get the stink eye.

How many sheets of plywood have you pushed up a ladder?
Rex? Anyone?

Ever tote bundles of shingles up onto a two story roof?

I've never pushed plywood up a ladder but I have brought shingles up onto a roof. Scary as hell once you get to the top of the ladder.

Hey Rex, why do you workout? I haven't seen any evidence that strong quads help your ability to hit a clay pigeon. Maybe that is your secret to being such a good shot?

Conditioning for hunting season mainly. Plus I like some exercise everyday. I have lifting first thing of the day, wakes me up if you will.

Why? Numbers don't mean shit. Form is everything, which if he is using pads and boxes, he most likely doesn't have. Results are all that matter and being only 165 at 6'3 tells me there ain't much happening.

Also, lifting for hunting is a dumb excuse as well as any other sport. For me it is a hobby that I now get paid to do. I did it to get in shape at the beginning but now I'm thinking about partnering up with Shaun T in the near future
