Since Olly increased the file size we can upload, I will post the three ducks I killed with the smew.

Maybe I should just get a similar haircut?

QH do you have it now?

No, gila-river didn't receive it until last Tuesday(12/9). He wouldn't have gotten to hunt at all. He would have had to ship it to me before the weekend for me to get it (possibly) before the weekend. Since I've done the traveling deeks several times on this and other forums in the past, I told him to keep it and hunt it for the weekend. He will ship it to the next person. I already let Rex know to PM his address to gila river. Sorry, I thought everyone was aware it was behind schedule.

@olly I still have the decoy, Rex and I have been in contact and he said he didn't want it as he wont have time to hunt it. I can send it out tomorrow or hunt it this weekend and send it. Whatever you want.

Met up with QHPaw (Mike) and AKpirate (Tim) yesterday and headed out to my cabin. Went over to the tank I hunt and with the north wind we had to throw together a makeshift hide to work it right. Spent the night killing beers and telling lies having a great time. Morning came and we were joined by Bad17 (Brian) with the smew in tow ready to go. The birds didn't show in numbers like we have been seeing but they did not disappoint with the show. Just about every bird that passed within eye sight was falling over itself to get into the decoys dropping out of the sky. I can still vividly picture two widgeon dropping hard and pitching back and forth almost flipping. Everyone showed up with their A game as well to oblidge the birds that wanted to be there so bad, very few birds came into the spread and left. Wound up with 17 birds but was just the cherry on the top to go with the company shared. All extremely laid back, easy going guys that I am glad to call real life friends now

We had a great time hunting over Sir smew with Flightstopper and Bad17. Sir Smew is in the pickup and on his way to the NCH. The LA and Arkansas portion of our trip ran into some kinks that are beyond anyone's control and we are heading to Kansas.

Ya, unfortunately I had to work Monday morning so I had to jet. I did get my annual permit this go-round though, so I'll definitely be back down next fall.
