Thats great! Mine was a skunk trip. New front has pushed what we had out and looks like we are waiting on new birds. Lots of wood ducks, not in season though.

Very cool AJ. Gald you're spilling some blood over the Smew to generate some MOJO for the rest of us!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Just for future reference with shipping the decoy.

I would stick to using USPS only unless you plan to pay for some 2nd day shipping or whatever. Both UPS and FedEx ground take a full 7 days to get to where they are going, even if its within the same state for some stupid reason. USPS ships it for a few dollars cheaper, and if you ship it on a Monday after the hunt weekend, it is always guaranteed by Friday. 9/10 its there on Thursday. No I'm not a spokesman for USPS. I have just done this the past 3 years and both FedEx and UPS have been way more expensive and take too long to get to their destination.

Yup. I wasn't saying that to bitch about how you sent it. Just trying to save people money along it's route. 2 years ago assateague spent in the $100 range to have the decoy mailed UPS 2nd day. If someone has the decoy the weekend following you, going UPS or FedEx ground won't have it there in time.

You are good man! We had a full weekend in between us so it didn't really matter how long it took.
