It's not the rice, it's the cooking and the processing. Most good rice comes from California, even when you're overseas.

i like the way they cook/flavor the rice is Asia. plain old white rice that we would eat on fried pork chop night, just wasnt my thing.

i love all the different types of fried rice. that stuff you all down on the bayou eat has to be smothered in a bunch of stuff. leave the rice out and i put it over biscuits or toast

It's how we eat it.Rice and gravy is a south Louisiana staple.If your from here chances are you eat rice almost everyday whether it be in gumbos, jambalaya, sauce picante,or just good ole rice and gravy with a smothered meat.
