i know a lot of guys thought Benny Spies was an idiot, but that dude knew how to have fun. And I loved his show. The episode where he was taking his plug out during his walk out to the pond and lost his spring in the water cracked me up. His gun was a single shot for the whole show. I died laughing. I'm with ya Joel

All this. I have never seen a hunting show version of Bill Dance. Ya he pitches some stuff (gotta pay the bills) but he also fishes exactly like I would and his bloopers are some of the funniest crap I've seen. Comes across as an average with some solid advice thrown in along the way.
