Why shoot 3" when 2 3/4" will do the job?

I can't get 2 3/4 to pattern like I like past 25-30. The extra 1/8-1/4oz of shot fills it it just right to got to the 40-50 yard mark if I need it.
But 90% of my shots are in the hole, so 2 3/4 would be fine most times.

I shoot 3.5 in shell because I can and I do most of the clean up shots on cripples .

There is nothing to clean up when I'm done with my 3"

Well when you take kids ,and guys with less experience out. oh and my shoot them in the ass dad you need it . to keep the dog from going on a 500 yard Chase retrieve for every other bird .

When I am in my swamp 2 3/4 is all you need , most shots under 20 yards .
field or open water always 3.5

You can fit 1 1/8 oz in a 2.75 gold medal hull. Cannon's recipe and does the job nicely.

But since you are pushing the issue and Oh So Certain that you purchased Remington Steel 7.5's, I will enlighten you with Remington's product listing, straight off their website. I'm going to assume you shoot the Sportsman Hi Speed shells because they do not make the Nitro Mags or the Hypersonics in anything smaller than 4's (I can prove that as well whole you are pulling your foot out of your mouth if you like).
