V boards

I've heard them called V or Y boards. I had a bunch of plywood scraps laying around and made myself a dozen GE,a dozen mergs and six squaw silhouettes. I built folding frames for them and I am pretty happy with the results. Thirty decoys take up less room in the boat than half a dozen GHG ge deeks.
Anybody else use these?

That's what I was going to ask- post up some pics of the process, if you don't mind.

Whole lot of comedy around here. Wait until I invent my wood welder. I'll be an early retired rich bastard.

I'm glad this forum exists, though. Because when I do finally kill a pintail, there will be a bold, large type, profanity-laden post put up. Probably about 7 of them, just to make sure nobody misses it.

I don't have any pics, but I could take some next time I go to my dads house.AT, you would love these, cost me ~20$ to make 30 decoys.
I haven't figured out how to post pics from my phone yet either, and my laptop is dead

Oh come on. If they worked on sprig you would use them, wouldnt ya!
I dont have much room to talk. I've never shot a nice drake pin myself. They are never here very long, and when they are, Ive already switched to divers. Same thing goes for cans too

I've never shot a bull sprig either, don't think I've ever seen one. I did shoot a hen once, and I've seen three other hens get shot, but never a nice drake.

What are they made of?

The arms are 32" long, made from 3/4 x 1 1/4 spruce board and the "gearbox" as I've heard it called is a 7" square piece of plywood with two corners cut off. The silos are plywood scraps I had laying arround that I painted with acrylics.

Mine are 1/4, but thicker would be more durable, altough bigger and heavier
