Who are you say he shouldn't use meth!

I'm not judging. Just pointing out the facts!

I wonder if ducks are attracted to it, like the fish were for Hank Hill...

I've seen a lot of rattle can red heads that look good (yours included). For some reason, I just can't figure it out...

I liked it because they have about the easiest pattern. Painters tape is a must. I went off an actual picture of a redhead from google images. If you want I'll send you the brands/Colors.

Throw'em out there...they'll work fine. You can flatten that red with a coat or two of Krylon flat clear finish. You don't ned minute detail to kill ducks.
The objective is to turn live ducks into dead ducks

The red rattle can primer works good for their heads and its flat.
Pretty much a redhead is just a bluebill with it's head painted different.

Looks good! I like the feather detail on the sides. I went with redheads cause they seemed easiest. Grey, black, red. I don't think I could do ornate lines like in some of the other specie.

I used a brush for them. Right around 10 minutes per decoy not counting dry times.

Tonight I got on those used BWT I picked up. I took a little more artistic liberty than I did with the redheads and had fun with em. It was fun leaving some rough edges, imperfection, and detail after those straight laced redheads. They will get 3 coats of flat clear coat tommorow to dull up that head.
