The Beast

At least thats what I am calling this one. My first canvasback and the only pattern I had that I wanted ti do for this was big.
Hollowed white cedar, painted with oils and competition grade eyes. Its going out the door to a friends dad for his birthday.

Scott its 8" wide 5" tall, I forget the body length offhand but I'm thinking 16.5"

I made 4 around that size about 6 years ago and loved them. That size diver really looks good on the water.

I would imagine someone is going to have an extremely Happy Birthday receiving that bird :thumbsup:

I do like a bit wider decoy than usual, I like the bigger footprint.
