Fatboys

Here's a pic of some bluewings I just finished and hunted this morning. Four of them are hollowed cedar and three are hollowed tan cork with cedar bottom boards. I call them my fatboys because of how I lowered them while widening them a bit for a bigger footprint. One pic is after washing the mud off of them after this mornings hunt and one from this morningThey worked well enough as I did have a few land, or try to land in them.
They are not all carved in the same style though a couple are smoothies and one has sidepockets and raised primaries. Just messed around to see what I liked.

Thanks! Hard to decide which I like better, cork or wood. Both have their own qualities that shine to me.

I honestly can't tell the difference on the water. I do enjoy carving a wood bird much more though.
