Finished another wigeon

Postby Mean Gene » Sun Mar 22, 2015 7:51 pm

Been playing around with this one, trying new things, putting paint on then changing to try something else, etc. Only thing left to do is install the keel. This would be a lot easier if all the ducks were just black and white.

Cork body with a wood head.

Thanks. I'll work on making the tail more pointy on future birds.

Mean Gene, I'd hunt over that any time with pride. Too pointy can cause breakage problems. Awesome decoy as it is!
All in a day's work.

Looks like you've worked very hard on that duck. I'd be afraid someone would shoot it so would put it on a shelf and dust it off every few weeks.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.
