Who here has FF'ed their own dog?

I'm working on it and wondered how other people do it.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

Did it. Just follow a program is probably your best bet for FF

Have done it twice now. I have the 10 minute retriever book and followed everything to a "T". I don't have any titled dogs, but I do have 2 very dependable dogs who are obedient.

Details other than "go buy this" is what I'm looking for.

Yup. The internet isn't going to FF your dog, you are. Buy a program and follow it. I used Smartworks and it was simple. FF was actually the easiest part of training so me because it was so simple and routine.

I did, not hard. I used the smartfech program and it worked great.

I will add that if your dog isn't spot on in OB, correct it before you even think about moving on. Also if you plan on FF, you should plan on FTP and everything that follows within the "force" training

I'm guessing you all consider this a troll attempt. It wasn't. My dog is FFed and I'm tuning him up. He's bored. Me too.
Wanted to compare methods but it's impossible.

You were given the BEST possible advice that could be given. Buy a program and follow it. Just because you don't like it, don't get butthurt.

I got some dog training experts to speak on the topic at the last DU meeting. Had four speakers. One by one they got behind the podium and said buy a program. One guy had a book he showed but wouldn't let us look at inside. He was quite proud of the cover art.

Its so mysterious. ..

Its because no one wants to send some idiot home to half ass FF their dog.

And not to be a dick but Betty, you sound like the type of guy who would listen to a FF seminar and say "hey! That's easy! I can do that myself after hearing this! Why spend all that money?"

I think the main reason why its such a touchy subject is because so many people abused their dogs after they thought they could do it themselves after reading the Cliff notes of FF

I watched Fowl dawgs and it's really not complicated at all. Just make sure he understands what you are asking of him and he should pick up on it quick.
