Teal Call

What teal call do you guys like?

I like the duck Commander teal call but I hear good things about the primos

Only teal specific one I've used was an older Haydel's. Last year I used my MVP and it worked well.

I've had two of the Duck Commanders but didn't like their tone as well as the Primos, but it doesn't get very loud. Prompted me to trim a reed for teal tuning in an over-bored MVP I have which is both spot on accurate and loud. Since then, Haydel has come out with a double reed call that's much, much better than their old squeaker, and Riceland Custom Calls is now also tuning for teal, and their teal call is growing a following here in Southwest Louisiana.

But I only carry a teal tuned call for the September season and make do with generally "close enough" by pinching kacks from a mallard call I'm carrying anyway during the big duck season.

I've been using that call for years. It really does work.

Peeeeeeeee, pee pee pee pee pee pee thru it.
NOT pissing but make that kinda sound thru the call.
They tend to circle once and light.
