With country music being here we've got a rich culture going on. Turkey, deer, duck, fishing... Even had a farmers elk get loose for a couple months lol. Had a bull and 2 cows just wondering around. If you like live music every now and then it's always around. I've lived in MS and FL but came back here. I wouldn't leave here for nothin.

Do you guys have geese down there?

Yeah!

What kind? Snows and specks? Or just canadas?

Blue, Snow, Ross' Geese, White-fronted, Canadian, Brant

Sugarland and Pearland are outlying communities. OK for younger families that don't mind the commute into Houston but not as close to the action as you might like. Lots of nice neighborhoods in Houston without moving into a "starter home" community.

If you take and pass the CPA exam, there are jobs available almost anywhere. My next door neighbor does well as a Financial Manager and his and his fathers firm is growing. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you or tell you about the area.

I used to live about an hour west of Nashville and SP is right about hunting and fishing but keep in mind that it isn't any where near real salt water fishing.

I lived in Brentwood (the Nashville area) for 3 years... it is very nice. You would easily find a good job there in finance.

BUT I am not sure you will find to many ducks without a drive.

My aunt lives in Pleasantview. Ive driven everywhere around there looking for ducks/geese and never found anything. I know if I ever move, it's going to be somewhere that I don't have to work to find ducks.
