Chance to win an AR15 or $1,000

Postby Tomkat » Fri Aug 02, 2013 3:24 pm

Howdy friends,

Our DU Chapter is offering a raffle for a DPMS Oracle AR15 or $1,000, your choice. We are only selling 100 tickets, they are $20 apiece and the drawing will be held in the next couple weeks. Your numbered receipt is a handsome leg band that is sutiable for wearing on your lanyard.

Proceeds from the raffle will help to fund the 2013 Topeka Chapter DU Banquet. Last year our chapter raised over $65,000 for wetland conservation.

If you are interested in getting in on a chance for the $ or the gun, please send me a PM.

Thanks in advance for your help in supporting Ducks Unlimited.

That 65k is very impressive TK. My chapter only made 8k on our last event back in may. We've decided against a fall event but I'm planning to do something for next spring. I took over as chairman this year so I hope to improve on Georgia's longest continually operating chapter in years to come.

On a serious note, how could I pay for one of these, should I decide to toss my money in the ring?

And I only need one, because my chances will be the same with one as with thirty- 50/50.

I will pay them cash of my own, and you will send me a check, or pay pal, and I will mail you a band.

Easy peasy.

And I REALLY wanted that gun last year, and my wife bought tickets. We didnt win either. In fact, I have won very little stuff in my 4 active years in DU.

But we are all winners when we support habitat conservation. The money you spend to win a real AR ( :D ) will insure that Layniebugs kids will be able to duck hunt.

Why dont you want to take your grandkids duck hunting Jim?? :o

We put on a poker run every year for SIDS and We donate all fund to First Candle, they are one of the bigger SIDS research NPO's out there. So it is for SIDS.
