Similar to bobwhites it sounds like. We would enjoy birds that hold.
If they get in the black berrys the hold and the dog can't get to them. Berry bushes suck.
This is why I keep glue, emt gel, neosporin, bandages, and sutures on hand.
You also need a can of wasp and hornet spray.
