You in the Stan? I'm a hop and a skip South of there. We just got a prowler unit in here. There's also a few Marine police here. Stay safe, shoot me a pm if you're transiting through anywhere. If it's here, we can grab a beer

I have some family that use to live in Santa Rosa, spent a bit of time in that area when I was younger. I live up in Redding.

Check out the Blind forum, most of the daily shenanigans happen there. Also turn off your word filter, we can use big boy words here.

Again, welcome to WFF and thank you for your service!

Hey dukgtr, how far are you from Cibola NWR it's just this side of the AZ border. I get over there a few times a season. Let me know if you're still around come October. It's pretty good early season.

Have you hunted Salton Sea? They got plenty birds there too. It's a bit of a drive from post. I think it took me 2 1/2hours during the night to get there from Vista. The bummer deal was coming back during the day when everyone else was on the road, took over 3, maybe 3 1/2 hours.
My daughter and son in law live down there. He's stationed at Pendleton too.

Yep, I went north through Temecula to get there. I hunted on Christmas eve with a kid I met on line on another duck hunting site. I think he lives in La Quinta. The bulk of the birds on the Salton seemed to be divers from what I saw.
Don't know my SIL's unit, I've never asked to be honest. If they keep with the current drawdown schedules in Afghanistan, he may get out this summer.

The primary part open to hunting is in AZ. As long as you got your Federal stamp I think your ok with a CA state stamp. A 3 day license is only like 14 bucks in AZ so you can make a weekend of it.
