Hunting Method Question

Postby trap333 » Tue Jan 09, 2018 4:51 pm

Hi. I'm new to waterfowl hunting. I was talking with an acquaintance the other day and he said sometimes he "jump shoots". He said that's when you drive around scouting, find birds, then park and sneak up on them. To me it doesn't sound real ethical but he says lots of guys do it. What are everyone's opinions and thoughts on so called "jump shooting"? Is it ethical and, more importantly, is it even legal? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes to both questions but believe me when I tell you it's harder than he.. to sneak up on a duck. Try it you'll see......
