Is there a limit on domestic ducks and geese if you are shooting them on public land? Are you allowed to bait them?

Almost all farm ducks and geese can't fly. The few that escape aand get killed during the season count in your bag limit.

Yes, but most states still require a fishing license even if you are specifically targeting carp (say with a bow or spear).

That was my thought. Seeing as how it is basically a turkey on steroids/growth hormones, I would imagine it would fall under "big game" and require some sort of depredation permit.

Highly doubt you'd need anything at all to shoot a farm emu. Same reason I can take live ducks leftover from a HT and shoot them over my dog for training.

If ducks came waddling into my spread on a field aa farmer is letting me hunt, no fucking way Id be shooting any. That's no different than shooting his cows that walk over. Now shooting an escaped farm duck that flew into my spread on the swamp...damn right its going down.

He has given me the green light to shoot any I want, since they have become somewhat "feral", living in the pine forest. He can't even begin to find them all anymore. But based on an earlier assessment, if I'm out hunting for resident geese, and shoot 8 of his farm geese, I have to be done.

Nope. They're those big ass gray and white geese, with the fat asses. They roam the woods around here now.
