The river here in ER is packed with mallards right now. I stop now and then to watch them, and figure out the best way to double up ;)

It is. Went out snow goose hunting today and saw a ton of ducks and Canada's. Had around 200 Canadas land in our spread, just to have the snows give us a look and land 4 fields down the road.

A flock of 200?! The Canada's in your area aren't even paired up yet? I saw a lady honker sitting on a nest yesterday when I was checking traps.

Geese are pairing up around here. Sent the dog after them on three seperate occasions today. Bustards think the back yard is going to be their little boom-boom palace. No sir-ree.

No, several flocks of 20-30. Never been able to land those 100+ flocks.

There is a pair of Canada geese at my parents that just hatched 7 gosling. I hope to get some pictures of them this weekend.
