Without knowing what your area is really like it's hard to help...

You should probably add woodie decoys...do you really need a motion maker on the river? It wouldn't be necessary/noticeable on the river I hunt.

Good luck!

Sounds like the decoys you are using should be enough. Just make sure your blind blends into the background and if the birds are there, you will get them.

Blind needs to conceal you and/or not separate you from the background. The most important thing in my opinion it not to be distinguishable from the background. You can place something in front of yourself or paint yourself into the background. If you place something in front of yourself, it must be something that blends with the background. The great majority of folks haven't figured out that second part. Good blinds don't just hide their people, but themselves.

my blind is part of brush on bank .just went in and made spot,s for 3 people .have a 4-5 yrd sand bar heavy cattails and thick brush 4-5 feet tall so no problems with bank blind. putting my blind on my small jon boat is a bit more of a deal . boat,s very narrow and shallow so working out a way to fold it down for transport and still be tall enuff to cover good more of a problem.no time to work on it ain't helping ether
